Born and raised in Guelph, Laurie now lives just outside Guelph with her husband, 2 boys and her stepson.  She spent over 15 years working for the school board as an Educational Assistant working with special needs students, and in particular, with autistic children. 

Looking for a change, Laurie took her excellent organizational, communication, problem solving and customer service skills and joined MF in 2019 working as an Administrative Assistant.  Laurie learned very quickly, took on additional tasks supporting multiple Managers, and proved she could handle all the responsibilities that come with the role of Condominium Manager.

Laurie has attained her General License from the CMRAO and manages a portfolio of townhome and mid-rise condominiums in Guelph.  When she is not working, Laurie takes time to visit and help care for some of her past students and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
